Per ESPN, the New York Mets have moved (previously) starting pitcher Oliver Perez to the bullpen.
Ken Takahashi will replace Perez in the starting lineup.
Perez has pitched horribly (1-2 record with 9.97 ERA) this season. In fact, his most recent start was relief-like (2 1/3 innings against the Phillies).
